The SSTA (Space Surveillance Timer App) software suite enables the autonomous observation operation of astronomical observatories without the interaction of an operator. The software package, specially developed for space surveillance tasks, supports the simultaneous control of up to 8 telescopes installed on a single mount.

Optionally, SSTA can be extended by the SSORA module, which enables the automatic identification of objects on the sky images in (almost) real time. This provides a software suite that is also ideally suited for the automatic detection of space debris and the maintenance of orbital catalogues of these objects.
